I used Kisan Signal Minder. It will convert the rear signals to running lights.

Be aware, If your signals are yellow, it is illegal to have them on except for signal lights.

NY and NJ are like this, I am not sure about Ct.

Like verything else, you may get away with yellow lights, but of a cop wants to stop you, you've given him a good reason.

Another way you can add rear running/turn light is to get a set of

front turn signals:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/HONDA-CB250-91-06-NIGHTHAWK-FRONT-TURN-SIGNAL-CB-250_W0QQitemZ380074659697QQcmdZViewItem

Clear turn lenses:
http://www.denniskirk.com/jsp/product_catalog/Product.jsp?skuId=210138&store=&catId=4&productId=p210145&leafCatId=&mmyId=4746

and red 1157 dual-filament bulbs:
http://www.streetbeatcustoms.com/bu11xered35e.html

hook the turn wires to the existing ones and the running light wire to the black/brown wire for the tail light.

Now you have perfectly legal red running lights and turn signals in the rear. 8)
